A Bit About Tesla

Tesla is our pick pup from the repeat Bruno x Demi pairing, bred by our good friends at Susqudilla Kennels. From a young age, Tesla impressed us with her correct structure, balanced outline, and easygoing attitude… qualities that have continued to shine as she has matured. 

Living up to her name, Tesla combines keen intelligence with a generous heart. She is a lovely example of the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, displaying a solid, functional structure that is true to breed standard. This beautiful girl earned her AKC Championship with style and grace, facing only a single defeat to her “sister” Zola. Tesla captured multiple Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex wins over specials, her career highlighted by being awarded Best of Breed from the classes in her very first show and a standout performance at the prestigious New England Sporting Group Association (NESGA) show.

Beyond her success in the ring, Tesla embodies the temperament we value most here at Seastar: affectionate, intelligent, and composed. Whether she’s curling up for a cozy nap at home or turning heads in the show ring, Tesla brings charm, intelligence, and her signature Toller spirit to everything she does. Though she may not seek the spotlight, she has an undeniable presence that draws attention wherever she goes.

Tesla represents the very best of her lineage, a thoughtful blend of type, temperament, and soundness. We are proud to have her as part of our Seastar family and look forward to what she will contribute to our program!
