A Bit About Lyric

Lyric is our beloved keeper girl from the Triton × Ellie pairing, produced in collaboration with our wonderful friends at Roaneden Kennels. Fittingly named Seastar’s Runnin’ Down a Dream, she truly is our dream chaser… a dog who embodies heart, drive, and devotion in everything she does.

Lyric approaches every task with enthusiasm and determination, making her a joy to train. She’s intelligent, eager to please, and thrives on teamwork. Always ready to learn and give it her best. 

Her affectionate, gentle nature makes her a wonderful companion and a natural with puppies… kind, patient, and endlessly playful. Her sweetness and empathy make her a treasured companion and dedicated working partner, a true reflection of the breed’s ideal temperament.

Structurally, Lyric is a lovely balanced bitch. She has excellent angulation, strong topline, and smooth, ground-covering movement that never fails to command attention. Though she sits on the taller side of the breed standard, we think that just means there’s a little more of her to love. She has been praised by judges in the show ring for her breed type and quality.

Lyric exemplifies everything we strive for at Seastar… a typey, versatile and biddable, well-balanced Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. We could not be prouder of this beautiful soul and the bright future ahead of her.
