Rosie joined our family in 1996, purchased as a family pet. She opened the door in an amazing way to dog sports and introduced my family and friends to the world wide family of Tollers. Rosie became an outstanding show dog earning 4 Championships, major awards, titles and recognitions that are too numerous to list.
She was very entertaining and capable in the field, but often affectionately called "Squeaky" due to her Toller vocalizations. She was one of the first Tollers to earn the Junior Hunter title.
4 Championships: AKC, CKC, NSDTRC (USA), ARBA
2000 US National Specialty Show Winner
2001 Canadian National Specialty
Show Winner's Bitch
Rusty Jones & Doberstein Award Winner
Junior Hunter & WCI
Our first Toller & foundation bitch
Rosie was bred only twice - producing Champions in each litter - including her exceptional daughter, Sadie. From her 2nd litter, she produced Lola (our most beautiful Toller), Zeus (who lives with my brother John's family) and Winston (who lives at the beach with my best friends - the Johnsons).
Rosie passed away peacefully on April 2, 2010 at almost 14 years old. She was the queen of Seastar and a cherished family member.
